ETC… This coffee comes directly to us from the farm of the Oliveira family in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The farm, Fazenda Bom Jesus, is run by Gabriel and Flavia Oliveira with their sons Lucas and Gabriel Junior. The Oliveira family has been growing coffee on this land for three generations and is a founding member of the Alta Mogiana Specialty Coffee Association which has led the way in promoting sustainable and equitable farming practices in the region. In addition to ensuring that their employees receive a living wage and performance bonuses, the family also offers all its employees literacy training and other educational opportunities. The Oliveira family has worked hard to secure rigorous certifications for their farm (listed above) and have been recognized as one of the Top Ten in Brazil for Sustainable Farming & Business Practices, a significant, notable and well-deserved recognition.
