ETC… Wet-Hulled coffees from Sumatra are distinctly earthy and herbaceous with a unique medium-heavy body. These coffees get their unmistakable flavor characteristics, in large part, from the wet-hulling process after harvest. This processing method is unique to Sumatra and was introduced in the 1970s by the Japanese as a unique style of handling and drying. This method was developed specifically to speed up drying and efficiency in a climate that sees heavy rain and clouds most of the year. You can expect this cup to be savory and herbaceous but not in an overpowering way… rustic yet refined.
