ETC… This bean is meticulously cultivated at the Gera Estate in the Djimma region of Ethiopia at altitudes over 2,000 meters above sea level. This altitude combined with the nitrogen-rich plants and natural fertilizers used on the estate provide excellent growing conditions for specialty coffee. The Estate doesn’t use any chemical fertilizers or insecticides during cultivation and once harvested, the coffee cherries in this particular lot are fermented in vacuum sealed containers prior to drying. This process imparts an extra layer of boozy, fruit-forward nuance to the finished product. This one is perfect for the adventurous coffee palates among us.
